Every sailboat I've seen from this era and size split the aft cabin into two berths, one on each side. I installed a removeable insert to make one big sleeping area. There is storage underneath the entire bed and around the sides in the cabinetry.
ABOVE: The aft cabin is difficult to photograph. The entire area is covered in thick, new foam cushions so that one can sleep in any direction. This is a great place to relax, stretch out, read, sleep, or get away from the crew. BELOW: A different angle from the port side. Normally this aft area is filled with pillows and a comforter.
